Step 2:

The license plate’s sealer needs to be removed. Simply begin with one corner and work your way back. This preserves the license plate’s finish while removing the seal. Using a lint roller, go over through the entire top of the license plate to clean it thoroughly.

Step 3:

Place your sublimation print on the table with the ink side up, and place the license plate on top of the print with the sublimated cut side. Make sure your full license plate is coated with your design to ensure proper placement. Adhere the license plate to your paper using tape. To keep it stable while sublimating, We often use heat-resistant tapes in 4 locations.

Place a Nomex pad, as well as sublimation, felt on the underside of the heat press, therefore a layer of protection paper, then the permit plate. You’ll want to turn it over so the sublimation design is on top. Add a layer of protection papers on top of that.

Step 4:

Adjust your heat press to 385°F with moderate pressure for 2 minutes.  After it has been heated, cycle the heat press up or down for just a few moments to warm up the foundation before inserting the license plate. You need to make absolutely sure that your sublimation design is placed on top and then press for the above-mentioned time temperature and pressure. Remove the plate from the flame while wearing heat-resistant gloves. Retrieve the sublimation printing & put it on a hot griddle surface to display your beautiful design.
